Pointer Mix Puppy Goes to Deals Gap - Tail of the Dragon

A few days ago my family put a lot of things in their truck and we went for a long ride. When I say they packed a lot, I thought we were moving! It was really hot and I had to sit inside while Shasta was in the back with all the stuff. They even took the really loud thing they ride on and one of their friends too... I wonder where we are going? Suki disappeared the other day and I'm really confused as to where she went. I saw my human take her for a ride but she didn't come back with her... Hmmm.. there IS a familiar smell over by the garden, but it can't be her...she doesn't live UNDERGROUND. I miss her, but we're going on a long ride!

I took a nap while my human too this photo of Shasta hanging his head out the side of the truck... he's so funny! Then we stopped... There are more of my humans friends with their stuff and loud things they ride!!!
We finally arrived to where we were going and I fell asleep right away. The next morning I was able to explore my new place...Wait!... Whats this??? My sister is here too??? YAY!!! And another puppy... Who are you? I was told his name was Lodi. He's younger than we are but the same size. He's pretty smart too. We wrestled and we played, we napped, and we ate food. We were PUPPIES and had SO much fun!!!

I learned a lot of things while I was there too.

1. Don't jump. (humans don't like that)
2. Don't bite. (humans don't like that either)
3. Stay with my humans when the other puppies are out of their cages so we don't get into troubles.
4. You can't run through invisible doors (my human calls them screens)
5. I can squeeze through tight spaces if I want to.
6. There are a lot of funny noises in the woods that Shasta isn't afraid of.

and most importantly

7. Those things around a fire on the ground are really HOT!

So that's pretty much it... when we were ready to leave I helped the best way I know how... Find a safe spot and wait. There was a lot going on and some of it was scary. Overall... We had a blast! We even  got to play a prank on Shasta... hehehe...those are the things my human uses to dry her paws with .

I was told I'll be going back again when it gets cooler out again... I hope that's soon!
