Potty Training

The box with a Pupy-potty-room
Today begins the day where my puppies begin learning that they can't potty where they eat and sleep. My human has a friend who said to try this. She has really big dogs and she says this helps with keeping the box clean. So far so good. I was suprised when I was feeding them that they crawled over me to go in their potty room. There are some who's instincts havn't kicked in yet, but that's ok. they will soon, plus my humans are better than me about keeping up with them. They all should get the hang of it in a few more days.

Sometimes I hear my human talking to other humans about potty training my puppies... They don't believe it can be done, but just think...when they go to their forever home they will already know not to do the dooty in their crate and will do it on the papers. A breeder named Bev Dorma from Misty Trails Havenese / Mastifs has created a method called the "Misty Method". I'ts basically a way of raising the  pups that gives them the concept of housetraining early on. How cool is THAT? My humans are definatly making it easy on the new parents of my pups.

I had to have my human film this... they were so full of energy after they pottied and since they are starting to eat solid foods now they know the smell of MY food. I think they are liking this solid food thing.... well... its more like wet mush, but anyway they like it. Here's the video below. It's also on my you tube channel.
